Integrations
Integrations
Connect ILPapps with the tools your team already uses. Integrations let you sync data, automate workflows, and keep everything in one place without switching between apps.
Overview
ILPapps is designed to be the center of your productivity stack. Integrations connect it to your existing tools — communication platforms, project trackers, HR systems, and more — so data flows seamlessly and your team works from a single source of truth.
Managing Integrations
Where to Configure
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations to see all available and active integrations.
- Each integration has its own configuration panel with connection settings and sync options.
Integration Types
- Communication — Connect chat and messaging platforms for notifications and updates.
- Calendar — Sync 1-on-1 meetings and events with your calendar provider.
- HR Systems — Import employee data and keep organization structure in sync.
- Project Tools — Sync tasks and project data with external project management tools.
- Custom Webhooks — Set up custom integrations using webhook endpoints.
AI Workmate Integrations
- Tool-based connections — AI Workmate agents can use tools that connect to external APIs.
- Automated sync — Schedule jobs that pull or push data to external systems on a regular basis.
Workflow Integrations
- Workflows — Define automated workflows in Settings that trigger based on events.
- Notifications — Route notifications to external channels based on event type.
Custom Fields
- Extend data models — Use Settings → Custom Fields to add metadata fields that map to external system data.
- Sync mapping — Map custom fields to external system fields for seamless data exchange.
Getting Started
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Browse available integrations and select the one you want to connect.
- Follow the connection setup — typically an API key or OAuth flow.
- Configure sync settings (frequency, direction, field mapping).
- Test the connection and verify data flows correctly.
Best Practices
- Start with one integration at a time — verify it works before adding more.
- Use webhooks for real-time data needs; use scheduled sync for batch updates.
- Document your integration mappings so the team knows what syncs where.
- Monitor AI Workmate runs that involve external systems — API rate limits and errors can cause silent failures.
